Fall TV preview: The new network shows to watch and the ones to skip

(CNN)The major networks were once the centerpiece of the fall in terms of pop culture. Now, they’re just one more group crying for attention, in a fourth-quarter that will see an onslaught of streaming and cable fare and the launch of studio-backed streaming service Disney+ as well as Apple TV+.
